At our latest Great Bookham Belles WI meeting, we were treated to a fascinating talk by Tammy Ellis on Whose Art Is It Anyway? Tammy explored the complex world of art ownership, authorship, and cultural significance in today’s world of collaboration, digital reproduction, and appropriation.
She took us on a journey through history to modern examples, challenging us to rethink how we define creativity and who gets credit for it. Thought-provoking and insightful, her talk left us questioning how we view and value art in an interconnected world.
