If anyone has any cotton fabric that can stand being washed to at least 60° and a sewing machine, please can you make a few drawstring bags so NHS frontline staff can wash bag and scrubs together thus helping to reduce transmission of Covid 19.
Grange Hill, QVC and The Good Grief Trust
Linda Magistris, former Grange Hill star and now QVC presenter and CEO of the charity, @thegoodgrieftrust, was warmly received at this month’s meeting and gave us a thought provoking talk about the charity she founded last year.
Freewheelers Theatre Company
The Freewheelers Theatre Company brings disabled and non-disabled actors and supporters, production teams and the local community together.
We use theatre and dance, wheelchair and voice box technology, multimedia, animations, puppets and shadows to create innovative work. We like to work collaboratively, surprise people and challenge perceptions. We don’t like barriers, rules or conventions. We are based in Leatherhead, and have toured our work across the South East.
Are you interested to become part of an inspirational team? We have some volunteer vacancies – if you have any questions please email julie@freewheelerstheatre.co.uk or call 07966 572670.
