Our charity for this year is Leatherhead Swans and we were asked if we could help our at their big fundraising event ‘Teas on the Green’ in Brockham. We love a collaboration so the Swans staff & volunteers from Great Bookham Belles got together to ensure that this event was a successful one.
As the WI is renowned for its cake baking, we were asked to bake cakes and serve teas and refreshments – something that the Belles are excellent at. It was a fabulous afternoon and whilst it was the Wimbledon Final and the Euro’s football final, they still managed to raise £800.00.
