November Meeting and its AGM time. We would like to congratulate Amanda Edge who was voted in as our President for a staggering 8th term- she’s just too good to replace!
The evening also gave us the opportunity to present 2 educational bursaries to 2 members, Leah and Marilyn, selected by a ‘randomiser’. Marilyn’s craft bursary was in fact in memory of one of our past Belles, Carol, who sadly died in 2019 and who was a great seamstress; we were fortunate that her husband Nick came to present the award.
Finally we were also able to announce that our members had selected LeatherHEAD START as their Charity for this upcoming year and were delighted to welcome Chair of the Board of Trustees and Directors, Myfanwy Tothill, who gave us a great insight into the great work they undertake locally.
