Wow, Wow, Wow! We had an absolute blast at our April meeting. It was one of the funniest and most entertaining evenings ever!! We welcomed Lindsey Dixon Barrell (aka Ms Cherry Bombe) and her Burlesque Bombes and they were outstanding. All WI members themselves, Lindsey told us her story of being alone, middle aged with no friends and how she found a burlesque class locally. She then joined the WI and created a burlesque troupe within the #WI itself. It was a fantastic and very funny story, the laughter in the hall was rapturous. The evening ended with a little routine to Chris De Burgh’s ‘Patricia the Stripper’. It was a very memorable evening! #Burlesque is definitely in the Belles itinerary!
