At Great Bookham Belles WI our normal monthly meeting was turned into a Getting to Know you social and shopping extravaganza on Monday evening. It was wonderful to see so many women attend, including new members, for whom this was their first meeting!
Our members were treated to a fantastic social, complete with wine and nibbles and were able to peruse fabulous stalls selling scarves, clothes, handbags, local crafts, handmade cards, cosmetics, health & beauty products to name but a few!!
We also welcomed Jill Elliott and Sheila Webber who came to promote Denmans College, and our members were able to learn and sign up for the exiting courses that this exclusive establishment has to offer.
The challenge set by our President Amanda, was to get to know someone new during the evening and it turned out to be very successful. It was a lively and noisy evening with lots of laughter, fun and conversation finishing off with a fantastic raffle with superb prizes including a 30 minute back massage!!
