It doesn’t matter whether you’ve never played golf, if you haven’t picked up a club since your school days or an almost-forgotten holiday. You can get started by taking advantage of golf classes on offer from the England County Golf Partnerships. Great Bookham Belles WI have organised courses at Betchworth Park Golf Club, which run between 10-11a.m. on either a Thursday (starting 4th June) or Saturday (starting 23rd May) over 4 consecutive weeks. You’ll receive an introduction to golf from PGA professional Andy Tocher, together with information about follow-on coaching opportunities and club memberships. Equipment will be provided so all you have to do is turn up on the day in comfortable clothing.
