The Belles have a Social every July meeting to get us ready for our Summer Break. This year’s. meeting was a little different as we invited back some of our Eco-Social Enterprise speakers to come and sell their wares and remind us about the environment and recycling.
We also had our extra curricular group leaders on hand to encourage members to join the smaller groups and make new friends, from Books, Theatre/Film, Cycling, Gardening, Out & About, History, Crafts, Walking Netball, Environmental, showing that there is so much more to being a Belle other than just our monthly meetings. We enjoyed a glass of summer fizz and socialised all evening, holding another raffle which added an amazing £245 to our charity of the year’s fundraising total.
