As Autumn comes to a close the Belles took themselves off to Simply Scones for a fabulous afternoon tea at The Grange, a local charity which the Belles chose to support this year.
Simply Scones is a tea room running every Tuesday afternoon from 2.00 until 3.30pm, serving cream teas, it has just been re-opened today following some building works and the Belles were made to feel so welcome on their first afternoon of opening.
We were served by the Grange volunteers and Maria Weston……. The lovely bone China cups and the beautiful setting made this a very special afternoon, along with the best scones EVER.
There was lots of chatting and laughter as we sampled the fabulous jam (which was freshly made on the day) clotted cream and delicious apple and cinnamon, fruit and plain scones. What an afternoon delight!
