Keep Friday 25th September free for The 100 Year Old Man who Climbed out of the Window and Disappeared – Leatherhead theatre have brought this in especially for Great Bookham Belles WI and it’s only on that evening.
Based on the hilarious best selling novel by Jonas Jonasson, this tells the somewhat unlikely story of a mischievous 100 year old man who finds himself stuck in a Nursing Home and escapes,having adventures along the way. It turns out that he has had an extraordinary life too. The film’s dialogue is in Swedish with sub-titles, but the reviews say this isn’t a problem at all and that there are many laugh out loud moments, with Robert Gustafsson in the lead. We will meet in the cafe area at 7pm and we would be finished by 9.45pm.
