Great Bookham Belles are ladies who love to lunch and today was no exception as 24 Belles went off to the The Clink restaurant in HMP High Down.
Today was Inside Story where they were treated to a fabulous 3 course lunch exquisitely prepared by serving prisoners and hear a talk from Tracey, Clink executive, about the Clink and it’s story.
The Belles happily chatted to the waiting staff who were also serving prisoners and listened to their stories and their aspirations on turning their lives around ready to resettle back into the community.
As a treat the Belles received a book full of Prisoner poetry and Art. It was a thought provoking but thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with many saying that they want to visit again with family members.
