Our Stellar Belles reached for the stars and succeeded in their mission for winning 1st prize at the Space Themed Bookham Village Day 2017 for best dressed stall.
As the temperature reached meteoric heights, our stall regenerated into a galactic theme, selling Jupiter Jars full of sweets and toys, Cosmic Crafts made by our members, and Pluto popcorn; there was even a space booth to take astronautical selfies. The stall decked with planetary lanterns and extraterrestrial balloons looked out of this world eclipsed only by our very own Space Cadets, complete with rocket powered backpacks, Princess Lea and Polaris Star.
Not only did we have Belles on our stall but also in the refreshments area providing and serving celestial cakes, attired in our WI logo’ d aprons.
A huge thank you to all our Belles who helped to make this annual event stratospheric!
