Last night saw the inaugural meeting of Great Bookham Belles WI. With record numbers venturing out in the dark we have in the space of a night become a considerable WI with a full membership! After the formalities of signing the ‘constitution’ and listening to our guest speakers there was a dash to sign up for membership and a buzz in the air of expectation and elation – for what is to become an exciting new venture for all of us!
