Following the fantastic success of our first meeting, Great Bookham Belles WI became more popular than expected. We now have a full membership and a growing waiting list-despite doubling the amount of members we initially thought we would have! This has meant however that in order to accommodate the numbers we have had to vacate our old premises at St Nicolas Pastoral Centre.
The good news is that we have found a new larger venue in the Arcot Hall, Manor House School, Manor House Lane, Bookham. The school have been wonderful and welcomed us with such enthusiasm – it’s going to be a great place to be!!
It is a beautiful venue for our WI and we will be holding our next meeting there on Monday 17th November 2014 at 8.00pm – we look forward to welcoming you to the new home of Great Bookham Belles WI.
If this new venue is inconvenient for you for any reason, especially if it is a transport situation or that you no longer wish to be part of Great Bookham Belles WI, then please let us know as soon as possible as there are alternative local WI groups that you may join.
We are all very excited about our new home at Manor House School and we hope to spend many happy years there.
