To celebrate our National Federation of WIs centenary year. On 1st Jan 2014, the Centenary Baton left Anglesey – home of the very first WI meeting in the UK – to start its long journey visiting all the Federations before finishing on 4th June 2015 at the Royal Albert Hall, where the centenary Annual Meeting will be taking place.The Surrey Federation will be the last to receive the baton and the baton changing event will take place at the Old Barn Hall, Bookham on 20th May 2015. The day long event will have craft displays and stalls showcasing what the WI does best. There will also be refreshments and sales of cakes, produce and preserves. £3 a ticket £4 on the door
