We have been offered a limited number of places to visit Highclere Castle, where Downton Abbey was filmed on Sunday 30 April (please note this is the Bank Holiday weekend).

If you would like to attend we would be grateful if you could email as soon as possible, to confirm your place, many have gone already but we have some left.

The cost of this trip will be £27,* this will provide entry to the castle and gardens and transport to/from Highclere Castle by coach from a central point in Bookham. There are no tour guides available, but there are guides in each of the rooms who will be able to answer questions.

Payment will be required at April’s monthly meeting and we will confirm final costs, timings and arrangements nearer April’s meeting.

*Please note if not all the tickets are sold there may be an increase in transport cost.
