selma-movie-posterOur next film outing will be to see Selma on Tuesday 31st March at Leatherhead Theatre.  Selma tells the story of a 3 month period in 1965 when Dr Martin Luther-King led a campaign to secure equal voting rights. The film has received great reviews (5* from Rotten Tomatoes) with David Oyelowo playing the lead. Although he was controversially overlooked at the Oscars, the film won an Oscar for the best song, Glory. The running time is 127 minutes and so we will be finished before 10pm.

The price of the tickets will be £8 as the Theatre has very kindly given us a discount.

If you would like to go to Selma then please contact Sarah Landers by email for her details by Tuesday 24th March.
