‘The Derek Paravicini Quartet are a fortuitous coming together of musical friends, whose live performances across the country, following their successful debut on BBC Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’ programme, are bringing a new ‘wow’ factor to the music scene in the UK with their unique blend of musicianship and virtuosity.

Derek is one of the most extraordinary pianists and musical entertainers of his generation. Yet he is blind, autistic and has severe learning difficulties. Derek has a repertoire of tens of thousands of pieces – all learnt very rapidly, just by listening. His astonishing improvisations and dazzling technique have wowed audiences all over the world, with over a million hits on Youtube and another million on TED.
