This photo was taken at one of our monthly meetings in 2018 when we had the pleasure of listening to Deborah James’ amazing and very uplifting story of her battle with stage 4 bowel cancer and how, using her presenting profile on TV, Radio and press, she set up Bowelbabe and raised so much money and awareness for this wicked condition! At that time she had written her book called ‘F**k you Cancer which was an amazing read; we had the most tremendous evening – what a woman!
In light of recent news that Deborah has now been moved to hospice at home care and has asked all of her friends & followers to have a drink in support of her and to say goodbye – please raise a glass for Deborah and her courageous fight. This has broken our ♥️ hearts at the Belles; we will be doing a little fundraising for her wonderful charity #bowelbabefund very soon ❤️
