Congratulations to Sam who won the ballot last night for the WI Royal Garden Party. Sam will be representing Great Bookham Belles WI on 2nd June, in the presence of HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, at the Garden Party in Buckingham Palace in aid of the WIs centenary. The last time this was granted was in 1965 with 9,000 members in attendance for the WI’s Golden Jubilee. The event will start at approximately 3pm and finish at approximately 5pm.
Shirley was drawn 2nd and will be placed in the Federation Ballot – we will keep our fingers crossed!
