New Venue
Following the fantastic success of our first meeting, Great Bookham Belles WI became more popular than expected. We now have a full membership and a growing waiting list-despite doubling the amount of members we initially thought we would have! This has meant however that in order to accommodate the numbers we have had to vacate our old premises at St Nicolas Pastoral Centre.
The good news is that we have found a new larger venue in the Arcot Hall, Manor House School, Manor House Lane, Bookham. The school have been wonderful and welcomed us with such enthusiasm – it’s going to be a great place to be!! » More
A Resounding Success!
Last night saw the inaugural meeting of Great Bookham Belles WI. With record numbers venturing out in the dark we have in the space of a night become a considerable WI with a full membership! After the formalities of signing the ‘constitution’ and listening to our guest speakers there was a dash to sign up for membership and a buzz in the air of expectation and elation – for what is to become an exciting new venture for all of us! » View the photos
